I had not been to Aspen/Snowmass for 35 years. The last time was in 1981. Snowmass is a great wide open mountain for all levels. You can ski at 60 MPH if you want on the Dallas freeway & not worry about hitting anything or...More

Ski the last week before closing. The weather was in the 40's and 50's. Groomed trails in the morning are crunchy and hard packed. After lunch, we skied on mash potato. Overall, the trails are wide with multiple level of difficulties. These trails converge to...More

Snowmass is absent the snob factor found in Vail. The folks are friendly and helpful when looking for good places to ski and eat. Many thoughtful touches like free Cliff bars and hot apple cider at the top of the Village Express lift. Prices are...More

There is ADA parking and access to all public areas. I do not know cost of parking. Resort is very helpful- I recommending calling them direct with your specific questions. Good luck - it is a beautiful place!

Looking for a convenient condo (2 or 3 bedroom) that is walking distance to balloon festival and other ameneties. Most reviews are about convenience for Skiing but that is not what I am interested in for September. Any suggestions

We stayed at the Laurel woods. Near the snowmass mall. Gondola to the base village. I don't know where the Balloon fest is held but it was a nice condo reasonably priced.
