Great views, waterfalls and lots of mining remains. Mind your speed there are many turnouts if someone is tailgating. It is a very safe road in my opinion.

Glad I did it. Probably not again. Everyone was behaving speed was reasonable- once I pulled over for someone riding too close. Was happy to do that. Spectacular scenery but you have to keep your eyes on the road!!

Beautiful drive from Durango to Silverton. Mountain views are a delight and Molas Pass is one of the highlights. Snow on mountaintops was awesome.

How tall at the tunnels? I know someone who has a truck with a slide-in camper, and he would love to be able to drive this terrific highway.

There were large 5th wheel campers and full size semi trucks, so I doubt a slide in camper would have any problems.
