I've seen bigger, but this was worth planning the time to add to our trip. We talked about these falls every day of the week and are still showing people photos since we got back home.

These falls were different than what we expected. There are actually three falls in one place. Breathtaking scenery, a short walk from parking lot and perfect for photos or selfies.

Small parking lot but easy quick access to the falls. The secret of this little gem is getting out so it's more difficult to find parking easily. Breathtaking views with short a hike to see both the upper and lower falls.

If you are planning a day trip and you live in Colorado, drive to Rifle Falls. If you are travelling on I70 and you are near Rifle, stop and visit Rifle Falls. This is a state park so there is a fee. Absolutely beautiful views...More

It has been awhile since I have been here and you need to go early because the parking lot will get packed and you will not be able to go up to the falls if you can't park.

Rifle Falls offers a great hike with a great view! The view from the top of the falls is almost as enchanting as from the bottom.

You would never think driving back down a road which leads into the park that you would pull up to such a beautiful park. The falls are incredible. There is a path that goes up under the falls and one that goes around the top...More

Not at the falls themselves but if you keep going on the road that leads to the falls, after the canyon where's there's world class rock climbing, there are trails.
