This is a spectacularly lovely spot and well worth pulling off the road for the short trip to the park. The statue of the eagle is inspiring and massive. The prayer rocks and circles are peaceful and the views of the mountains are just humbling....More

Definitely worth a stop if you'd like a nice little walk all no the river. Nice meditative place around the big eagle statue. Good place for birdwatching.

This is the perfect place to stop and have a picnic lunch, or read, or just enjoy the quiet beauty of the area. The park is small, but lovingly maintained, just 2 minutes off the highway going into Ridgway. I highly recommend it.
