My husband and I dry camped in our RV. RV was hot in the afternoons but who needed it when you can nap on the lawn. Wonderful place with nice shared kitchen and locker room. They have added a cool pool. We will return!!

Best to call and ask. There are lots of steps to get to the main pool and more steps to get in. Also depends on how well he can get around without the chair. Going back up the pond stairs could be challenging. There are... More

You would need to fly to Denver or Grand Junction to rent a car. No Amtrak up there. hotels depends on your budget. I would of course check TripAdvisor. I stay at Chipita Lodge. You can also try Airbnb.
