This lovely mansion lives up to the description. Well worth the nominal admission fee. Wood work detail and craftsmanship, Tiffany light fixtures, and a marvelous painted glass window are lasting impressions.

We took a group tour during the Christmas Season of this 37 room mansion. Learned about the history of the home as well as the Thatcher's that lived in the home until the 60's. The guide was fabulous and knowledgeable. This was my first time here and I enjoyed it. Was very affordable and the tour was just over an... More

It is unusual to tour a historic home with its original furniture. The place is amazing and the collections and furnishing were really interesting. I must also comment that I had a great volunteer tour guide! My tour was A+++.

Go here every year during the holiday season. Everything is decorated so beautifully! Must take weeks to get it so perfect. They have year round tours, not just the holiday season. This is a must see for locals and out of town visitors! You won't be disappointed!

This is a magnificent 37 room mansion that was home to the John and Margaret Thatcher family and was named for Mrs. Thatcher's favorite flower. This is one of those attractions worthy to take visiting friends and family to see when visiting Pueblo. I know I took many visitors there and each and every one enjoyed it. The only drawback... Beautifully maintained 37 room mansion built in the late 1890s. Many items are original to the house and photos of the family in the home. There is a restaurant right next door in the old carriage house. Family trunks are stored in the store room on the 3rd floor with family initials on them and a wooden crate that held... More

We took a tour of this house on our recent visit to Pueblo. It was truly a mansion-25 rooms and beautiful architecture. 85% of the items inside were original to the house, which was really neat. Even the servants' wings were beautiful. The docents were very knowledgeable. The only complaint was the last docent (we had 3) who took us... More

Rosemount Museum is an historic home owned by the Thatcher family. It was built in the early 1890’s and has 37 rooms. You will not see all of them on the tour. There are so few of these historic homes that have not been adapted for other uses, it is nice to see one in its original glory. They are... More

I worked at Rosemount years ago as an Education Assistant and let me tell you, it's a magical place. Unlike many historic homes, Rosemount never underwent any alteration into apartments or another private residence - it is literally frozen in time from when the Thatchers lived their daily lives there. As such, almost all the furnishings and personal items on... More
