I have been a member for the past several. I am a nature photographer and find that there is plenty of activity for me to enjoy Example: In fall they have a :Birds of Prey program. the birds are trained by the local staff, Eagles, Hawks, plus many other. They have great trails here (wooded, prairie, beach & ravine) and a tower. Located at the very end of Brown Deer Road (follow the signage). And in the winter, you can snowshoe or ski the trails. So beautiful here. (No dogs, it's a nature preserve)

Turn off your GPS because ours kept taking us around in a circle and advising us to park in a traffic lane and bush whack through the forest. Follow Brown Deer Road to where it curves, turn left and immediately turn right past the Audubon Center sign going due east again. Go down the small road to the entrance. Once... More

Spent a lovely morning at the nature center walking the trails and spending time with the raptor handlers in the center. The handlers are so informative and encourage questions about their "charges" from the audience. We were literally one foot away from their resident eagle. What a magnificent experience! It is extra rewarding to know that we are members and... More

We intended to hike for about 2 hours but it went on much longer as a result of poor trail maps and terrible signage. The place is not that big and the trails are easy - but we got turned around and couldn't find our way out until we luckily met another couple who knew the place. Carry water and... More

A very good family outing. Lodge full of informative and fun things for kids and adults. Very good and well marked hiking trails. Terrific viewing tower overlooking Lake Michigan (if you can take the climb). Take trail down to Lake Michigan and get your feet wet.

The beach trail was lovely with great views of Lake Michigan. Entry to the park was reasonable for how well it was maintained. Not enough trails to hike all day, but a must visit for nature lovers. Not busy at all.

We were visiting Milwaukee looking for something to do and came here. When I was a child I grew up in the area this has really expanded over the years. I would like to see more place markers because the map isn't really user friendly. We did have a blast and will return

Visited this nature preserve in March 2016. Beautiful building with nature display, great sitting areas indoors and outdoors. Enjoyed all the different hiking trails, some in meadows, others in woodlands, some with view of Lake Michigan. great view from the observation tower. Plan to go back later in the spring to enjoy the wildflowers and in the fall when leaves... More

My husband and I visited this place on a whim, while seeking something unique to do. The facility is modern and beautifully built. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be in the summer, with views of the lake and lovely nature trails. We didn't walk the trails there, but did watch the "Word With the Bird" presentation. We...
