Founded in 1991, Canyon Wind Cellars is a family-owned, estate winery named for the mountain breezes that keep the fruit on our vineyard cool under the hot Colorado sun. With the assistance of renowned Napa Winemaker, Robert Pepi, the Christianson family produces award-winning, signature wines utilizing low-intervention winemaking and sustainable practices. We look forward to sharing our passion with you!

Pam in the tasting room is always pleasant and knowledgeable about the wines. The Anemoi wines are definitely a must to try.

Happen to drive by Canyon Wind Winery on our way back to Steamboat Springs. Never really liked Colorado wines since the ones I've tasted tend to be on the "fruity" side and both my husband and I like more dry wines. But, the vineyard looked...More

Beautiful location and beautiful vineyard. We tasted outside and the setting was so pretty. The wines were plentiful with their specialty in dry reds. They had a nice range of age, complexity, and price point and we walked away with many....even a wine that gives...More

So glad that you enjoyed the visit! We totally agree that the stuffed Finley are a little over the top, but Finley (the real one) loves them too much! Thanks for the great review and especially thanks for helping us support Animal Rescue of the...More

From an oenophile, these are some of the best wines out there, especially for the price (although there are a lot of truly outstanding $10 bottles and even best-in-show Grand Champions out there). A very nice tasting room in a great location on the east...More

There were about 6 couples tasting wines when we arrived but we didn't have to wait long for someone to help us with the tasting. Each person gets to taste 3 wines at no cost. So we each tried 3 and shared our samples which...More
