Talon Winery & St. Kathryn Cellars offers a full range of traditional locally produced wines. We make reds, whites, dessert wines and blends. Our location is right next to the highway, so we're super convenient. Aside from wine, we offer a large selection of excellent gifts for your friends and family. You can also learn about Colorado's fascinating wine producing history with our Colorado Wine History display. Finally, we are home to the Colorado Fudge Factory, which makes a tantalizing array of constantly changing flavors of fresh fudge. Since our sister winery, St. Kathryn Cellars, is in the same building, it is like visiting two tasting rooms in one.

This winery is right off of I-70 at the Palisade exit. It is in the same building with St. Kathryn's Winery. Talon does not make fruit wines (St. Kathryn's only makes fruit wines). So - Talon is more my style for wine tasting. Talon also has a huge tasting room and large gift area, making it a nice place for... More

Felt like just another customer. Glasses were not rinsed between tastes, a minor infraction, but makes a difference. Several wines to sample. There is a fee after five tastings. Lots of local merchandise available to sample. However, we felt the Gewurziraminer 2014 was the tastiest of all of the other wineries, so that is the one we purchased. This was... More

I really liked the feel of this place, it reminds me of visiting family around the fireplace -- The Pomegranate was a surprise, absolutely delightful. The Lavender Wine was by far the one of the best Wine I have ever had. Overall a great experience, the staff was very knowledgable and friendly, I definitely recommend this as a great Winery... The woman who helped us with the wine tasting was extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic. She also recommended other things to do while in town, which was very helpful!

This was my second time and I always buy some wine there. I like their Pinot Grigio in particular although I also got some Gewurtztraminer. They have a nice collection of food gifts too. Sometimes you have to wait for tasting because they are so busy.

This was the third winery stop for us today. Would say that Talon was my favorite. Very friendly and helpful staff. Wines were very good. I would recommend this winery again and again.

Must have the Viognier. Lovely white wine! Perfect blend of white grapes and I would say best in the valley. Not to miss this treat

While not as good as the better California wines, Palisade wines, as represented by Talon, are quite drinkable and a great value for the money. The winery makes a wide range of Whites, Rose, and Reds. Tasting is free (unlike their California counterparts.) Salute!
