A very well organized, comprehensive museum. Tastefully arranged displays all housed in a historic old hospital. Plan on spending a few hours in order to fully appreciate all the time and energy it took to create these wonderful displays

This small museums had some great displays. Lots of history in this area and they displayed it well. We spent almost 2 hours looking around.

It was worth the time. However, it did take some time. There are many items and displays. But the displays and areas are organized very well which makes it less overwhelming. The marketing materials say that the Smithsonian rates this the best in the west...More

This is a great little museum with a ton of history. It's in walking distance of everything in Ouray. Staff was friendly. Loved seeing so many artifacts. Helpful knowledge for my girls. So glad we stopped in.
