I am a bit mixed on this review. I think that it would have been a lot different if I was traveling with children. The information was great and there are real dinosaur fossils that stretch the view of Denver being originally underwater. The museum...More

My son is a fan of dinosaurs so he was very anxious to visit this place. There are 2 locations, the Visitor Center and the Discovery Center. The Visitor Center is the main location and this is where the bus tours depart from. The Discovery...More

Dinosaur Ridge is the place they discovered some of the more famous species of dinosaurs, so it's definitely worth a look. There's a bus tour or a walking (self) tour. On the day we went, they were short-staffed and were unable to do the bus...More

We took the guided bus trip up the mountain, and not only was it affordable, but it was very interesting. Our bus driver was very friendly and knowledgeable. She actually showed us what we were looking at. The hill can be walked for free, but...More

We took the bus tour. I cannot believe they are dinosaur tracks!! It is just so unbelievable to see. They need donations to build a canopy over the tracks. I wonder how long it will take to erode them away if they don’t protect it....More

This was a great informative little stop just outside of Denver. We were glad we paid for the tour guide (Dino Dan). He was so knowledgeable and made us feel like a kid eager to learn more.

Yes as long as they are on a leash. Do be aware that there is the potential for snakes on and off trail so do try to keep dogs out of tall grass.
