Recently I was on a business trip to Colorado Springs and was staying in the Homewood Suites by Hilton. It is a hotel that was situated next to the large Briargate shopping area with restaurants ranging from Chinese (PF Chang), Western (Ted Resturant Grill and Bars) and also other dining options. This area has lots of shops selling things ranging from computers, clothings, decors etc. As travelers to the smaller cities in the USA are aware that without a car can be very restrictive. So having a shopping area which is within walking distance is a great blessing. This hotel also provide a good breakfast and evening social which is free simple dinner for all its guests every Monday to Thursday. It is also situated just five minutes drive from hitting the Ronald Reagan Highway which leads us to Denver.…

Sadly, according to a Google search, Frog on a Limb Primitives is permanently closed. A phone call to the listed number does not connect. I was on the block about 10 days ago, and the store looks closed.

Frog has some very nice and interesting hand-made craft items. I particularly like the hand-painted "Welcome" signs made from slate roof tiles. They make a unique gift.

The owners of this shop show their creativity with wide variety of fun things to see and buy. Prices are so-so, but treasures are to be found.
