The rather small version of a museum is still a fun, quick stop. The history of the old Incline railroad is there. A lot of the "museum" is donations of citizens mainly about the town highschool which I find a bit boring. But great Manitou...More

This museum was located by my hotel, so I walked down there. Many interesting things to see and read. Mainly local history. There were a few things to purchase. It was free. It is nice to see people preserve the local history.

The Manitou Springs Heritage Center is a cute little museum mostly filled with cog rail history which was extremely informative. The curator, Cricket, was full of knowledge and quite the character. We enjoyed our experience and would recommend stopping by when visiting Manitou Springs.

I stepped in to this little museum as I was strolling up Manitou Ave. Received a warm greeting from the two volunteers. There's a couple of constant running videos of the early days of the Cog railroad and construction of the Pikes Peak Highway. This...More

Wonderful museum for local history. Every changing exhibits with great artifacts and photographs of Manutou Springs and the Pikes Peak region. Run by volunteers so not always open, check times before visiting. In a historic building with other interesting buildings adjacent to it.
