Discovered in 1881, Cave of the Winds has been a premier Colorado attraction for more than a century. Explore amazing caverns, experience total cave darkness, and marvel at the beauty of formations hundreds of thousands of years old. Then step outside and walk on the wind on the Wind Walker Challenge Course, fly like a bat on the Bat-a-Pult Zip Line, and dive into Williams Canyon on the one of a kind aerial dive ride, the TERROR-Dactyl. Lots of family fun, amazing views and memories to last a lifetime!

We chose this place over Seven Falls due to the fact you have to shuttle into Seven Falls now rather than drive in like in the 80's. Cave of the Winds was awesome though. Very affordable & our guide (Greg??) was fantastic. He did such...More

We spent five hours here and could've stayed longer. We did the Discovery Tour and it was the perfect length of time for our group of ten (including 4 children ages 6-10). We bought lunch and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food tasted!...More

Crowded cave and was not super impressed with tour information - cave in Glenwood Springs is more interesting.

What is a safe amount of time to allot for Cave of the winds now that they have added new attractions. We have other things planned so want to make sure to allow sufficient time for Discovery tour, and rides, and obstacle course?
