Nice to visit if you are interested in odd land masses

My family really liked the topography of this location. The trail is not too long but worth the walk!

We actually hiked from Coyote Ridge Open Space into Devil's Backbone. It ended up being a 9.5 mile hike, strenuous but fun!

Go by yourself, your friend, your family, your kids. Dog and horse friendly. Love this place, sheer red Rock beauty, wonderful walk or run!

We enjoyed this place. We took our grandson to see it as well. He thought it was an interesting place to go. Nothing to do but the Devil's Backbone is pretty cool.

Minutes from the heart of Loveland with great trails, plenty of parking and rest facilities. Trails are mixed use, with a picnic area near the trailhead. About a mile on the trail you'll find a viewing area with benches. 5 minutes further is the keyhole over looking the rockies. This trail connects into Blue Sky, which goes all the way... More

If you go back in past the first mile, you see few people. If you go in past the first two miles, even fewer. Past the first 3 miles you may be one of two or three people in the space. Excellent red rock trails.

This is a site to see and visit. The backbone is big and long and seem to go on forever. It is a amazing thing to see in person.

Definitely more of a leisure trail than a "hike" but I LOVE this place; I've made sure to go every season and it's ALWAYS beautiful! Not a lot of shade available so be generous with the sunscreen and water!

There is plenty of parking with restroom and water. The trails are easy to walk. The scenery is beautiful and wildlife. I would give five star if you could climb on the backbone but I fully understand preservation.
