The flood of 2013 was devastating to the course, but the improvements have made it better than ever. I've only played a handful of rounds since the re-opening, but even time I do I ask myself, "Why don't I play here more often?" Many of the old growth "obstacle" trees are gone which opens up tee boxes and doglegs for... More

Wonderful views and fabulous food. The best breakfast burrito and burgers - also great specials at night. Don't miss out - an absolutely superb place to eat!

Loved the feel of this course, the way it's laid out and the way it plays. Well tended, greens in good shape, and overall great feeling, wide open and easy to play. Had lunch at the Sweet Spot in the clubhouse afterwards, and the menu was great in that there was breakfast on one side and lunch on the other.... More

This was my first time visiting this course and I had a great time. We went on Sunday and it was very busy. The greens were in great shape and the service at the restaurant was excellent. If you have lunch here you have to try the tasty turkey club sandwich. We will definitely be back (on a less crowded... More

An amazing comeback after the floods and late opening last summer! Great spring shape ! Finally want to stay for a bite to eat or a cocktail after the round.

Weather issues aside, 2016 is starting out great for CCGC! The course is in great shape - the fairways have filled in nicely and the greens are excellent. Twilight rates are a great value and the course is easily walkable. Practice facilities are also in very good shape and the punchbowl green is a nice touch for something different. The... More

The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The new owner in the restaurant has a fabulous menu. We had burgers and they were the best we have ever had. The service was great. Really nice.

September 2015 play gave us good fairways, huge greens; both were well maintained, at prices more within a golfer's budget, especially the late day rates. Pretty level course, therefore many walk, some bike cart and the rest (like us) use the smooth electric carts. It is very close the Louisville exit off 36 on W. Dillon Road. Enjoy!

We played this nice course weekly before the 2013 flood. We played yesterday (July 21,2015) for the first time since it reopened. Parts of it are still nice & unchanged. There were parts that were disappointing. Many fairways were in poor condition. The green fee plus cart at $61 is way,way overpriced. The food offerings were really lousy. The beverage cart... More

Coal Crel golf course was one of the most popular in the Boulder area. It suffered a grievous blow in the 2013 flood and has been completely renovated and improved in a $5M project funded by the City of Louisville, the State of Colorado and FEMA. It is planned to reopen for play on June 29 with a Grand Re-opening... More
