Reservations were easy and they were ready to go when we arrived. This is an organization that takes its horseback riding seriously. The animals are clearly well cared for and well trained. We opted for the 2 1/2 hour tour since we don't usually ride....More

We spent 2 days on horseback with Tom from Half-moon Packing scouting new locations for the upcoming hunting season. Tom was very accommodating and very knowledgable of the areas we were shown. Looking forward for the hunting season to begin.

Our party of 13 chose to stay local to Leadville Co. for our horseback riding experience, and unfortunately we had some good and bad. Keiley should always be customer facing as she was a good communicator, professional and very friendly. Tom on the other hand...More

My husband and I went on a half day horseback riding trip and our guide Hailey was perfect. We were the only two guests on the trip so it was even better having a private tour, I guess it pays to go on a Monday...More

Ok, first off I've owned and ridden horses for 30 years- most commercial riding stables have elderly, half crippled horses for beginners that I hate to see even being used. NOT this place! Excellent horses, great people, and the trail ride was beautiful. I had...More

We arrived at this site on time. The guide/owner was 1 hr. late. The whole place looks unorganized and is a mess. Plan to wait; don't schedule anything else that day.

The personnel were extremely friendly and quite entertaining. They offered both horseback and wagon rides. Two of us rode horseback and two rode in the wagon. Snow-capped peaks were around us. Unforgettable!!

We went the last day in September and weather was sunny in the low 60's. I wore a light long sleeved shirt and a Melanzana top (which are made in Leadville and turned out to be a fabulous purchase).
