I called in advance to bring in my 80 year old train engines. I wanted them looked over and repaired, if possible. After a one hour 10 minute commute there, they turned me away at the door saying they didn't have anyone who could work on Lionel Trains. What a waste of time, and HORRIBLE customer service!

Judi, We are so very sorry that after your long drive we could not work on your locomotives. There had to be some misunderstanding by the employee you spoke to. We currently only do repairs on certain items. We do not currently have a repairman for Tinplate, Vintage Marx, Lionel or flyer. But we hope to have someone onboard this summer late fall that can perform repairs on those types of models. Again we are very sorry for your wasted drive and time.

Just a confession here. I live vicariously through my husband's model railroading habit. He was deeply disappointed when the old store closed, but is delighted with the new location and store. It's in a convenient and easily found location. Perfect place to take the grandboys for train play and free popcorn while OPA shops. Grandma just watches the fun.
