This is an excellent option for those who cannot get away into the mountains. We often come here when inclement weather prevents us from going further and we always end up getting in a good workout.

This area is very barren so a hot, windy or cold day might leave you unhappy. There's not a lot of challeng in the bike route, not a lot of running appeal and walking it would get boring I would think. I'm so glad there is finally a fun place to mountain bike in the city, without having to drive an hour! The park is nestled between I-225 and the Cherry Creek SP by CCHS. This park is not only great for walking the dog, it has an 18 hole Frisbee Golf Course, 3 Mountain Bike areas 1 for each experience level, beginner, intermediate and advanced.
