Bike/walking trial through farms and wilderness. What could be better? Bring your bike. The trail is concrete end-to-end.

We take our dogs for walks along the Poudre River. They love it, so many thing to smell. It is great for me because I have bad knees and can't take the hiking we have around here. There are picnic spots and a nice bridge over the river. Love it.

Snuggles up against the Cache La Poudre River for miles of walking, running or biking. I start at the trail head on 71st Avenue and head west. The trail is especially picturesque in the Fall - a great setting for family or senior pictures.

This trail is paved and flat, for those who need these features. On one segment of the trail along the river we have seen bald eagles on a regular basis.

Absolutely one of the treasures of local communities in northern Colorado! Great for biking, walking, bird watching, and just enjoy the outdoors in general. Beautiful and relaxing. Take a picnic!

This is a very nice trail for walking, running and leisurely biking. The only negative, it can sometimes be crowded.

We have ridden our tandem bike from Greeley to Windsor. It is a nice ride. We have heard of folks seeing snakes but we never have. We have seen lots of wild life. Egrets, Eagles ducks and many small birds. It is not over crowded. Peaceful

We came to Greeley specifically to ride this trail and I was not disappointed. We stayed at an RV park about 5 miles from the Greeley Stampede trailhead. I rode to Windsor one day and met my husband there for lunch at Sol de Jalisco (excellent!) and then rode back. The trail was covered in cicadas. I also encountered turkeys,... More
