Concert in the park

We attended a concert in the gardens and enjoyed the experience. There is a nice gift shop and the gardens make a nice concert venue. Easy parking and casual atmosphere.

My Experience was not perfect. It may not be the best place for a concert, if you are not looking for perfection in any sense. There is a nice walk and you can look at stuff at the Gardens........But a place to put on a concert it is ok....there was barely room for the 100 people. The sun was in... More

The staff was most pleasurable. The two indoor spaces were kept up nicely and were a nice sight to see. The outdoor area needs lots of attention with half of the lights falling down, not many plants marked and weeds growth everywhere. I was a little disappointed after I had read the previous postings and actually had received a recommendation... More

This is a nice, but small garden. They have a small butterfly pavilion. For such a small garden there is a good variety of plants and the little walkways and garden art are well laid out. A few more volunteers for maintenance might help. But worth a quick stop

For a small Botanical Gardens this one gives it a GO! I Love the Butterfly Garden Room and as another reviewer stated they have a very nice cactus exhibit outside. The location is vey accessible along the Colorado river. the first Friday of the month is "Buck Day" were entrance fee is only a dollar.

Nice place to take the kids to. Every time I go, there is something new they have added. I love the little gift shop there for unusual gifts. Kids liked walking thru it . It isn't real big but the area around it for walking paths are great. We brought our lunch there and had it after going thru the... More

Established botanical gardens in a nice location near the Colorado River. Good display of plants plus a butterfly area. Can explore the outside on asphalt paths which would provide access to handicap. Reasonably priced admission with a gift shop to explore lots of local handiworks and publications. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

They have a butterfly garden, and indoor plant house and other plant gardens outside. But the BEST by far is the cactus garden. It probably is the best I have every visited. Well cared for, great variety and just a joy to explore. Also there are nice walking trails right there ins the James Rob River Trail is right next... More

Well as close as we get to the tropics. It's a wonderful oasis with non-indigenous life surrounded by what can live outside on it's own. One of the best attractions in town!

Lack of upkeep on this "botanical gardens' . When it first opened it was nice to have even this little place, but it's gone downhill fast. A nice lilly pad pond. The butterfly pavillion is so-so
