I was actually married at this venue. It was neat to come back and see the farm like setting again. It's fun for kids to run around and take fun pictures with all the equipment. Not the most exciting place in town but its pretty.
We set out to see how this valley started. We found this piece of history of the valley within miles of where we were staying. Here are the actual working remnants of a apple farm still standing that dates back to the 1900s.
While they didn't have the reenactments that we hoped to see our self guided tour was just what our large family needed.

Cross Orchard has a lot of Americana displays, but the model train setup was amazing. It was run by a local model train club and had the largest landscape and real life setup in Western Colorado that I have seen.
