I have hiked this park 3 times now. Very nice. I had been told by multiple people that this was primarily a mountain biking area but did not really find that to be the case. I had no problem hiking and the bikers were always...More

We hiked the circular pathway from the top to the Apex entry and will do the opposite the next time. Taking the trail through the Enchanted Forest afforded us the surprise viewing of a solitary elk cow, sitting alone deep in the forest, with a...More

Great hike! Took the Apex Park Trail to the Enchanted Forest. We had a group of 12 and 1 canine hiker. Appropriately challenging while not overly difficult. Several bikers along the trail, all very considerate in announcing their presence. Would definitely recommend this trail!

Currently the park is only partially open due to flood damage last year. It is scheduled to be fully open August 2014. The big problem with this park is the limited number of trails and the amount of use it gets due to how easy...More
