I knew about the trail and the grave before I went to Glenwood Springs but kind of accidentally came upon it while walking around the town in ballet flats and decided to just go for it, especially because it happened to be the 130th anniversary...More

Wear your hiking shoes. Up hill for 1/2 mile. It’s a trail up the mountain. I had to go see it because of the movie Tombstone, I’m your huckleberry. Loved it.

Although not the actual grave, the site is well maintained & a cool graveyard. The Pioneer trail to get there was a nice hike with great views of Glenwood Springs, CO

Beautiful 3/4 mile hike up a pretty steep hill but worth every hard step. Gorgeous old cemetery where Doc Holliday is buried somewhere. Marker suggests that Doc isn't buried in that particular spot but he's in the cemetery somewhere.

It is a bit of a hike uphill on a rough track about 30 mins or so . It was snow covered when I did it but dry now. It is an old graveyard with good views down into the valley. If you can't walk much , then I would think it... More

Some sports team that was visiting and hiked up put the ribbons on the tree about three years ago. No active story. It was really pretty when it happened.
