Easy half day hike to the summit of Byers peak

Drive several miles back from the town of Fraser to reach the trail head for Byers Peak. Easy hike about 3 hours to the summit. Go early so you are headed back home by 2pm.

Moderate hike to Byers Peak around 9 miles round trip using an old logging road, then a trail. Outstanding views of the continental Divide from the top. We saw Mountain Goats up top!
