Freedom Park is a great open space for you and your doggies to run, play, and splash off lease. If your there for a stroll, you may prefer sticking to the west side and heading to the river trains, unless you want to play with the Fidos. Check out the memorial, which includes a block of concrete from the World... More

Easy hike. Clean restrooms. We spent an hour here just walking around. Cool place for small kids to play. In town so easy to get to. Free fun. Who doesn't like that?

Freedom park has a great playground for the kiddos, a fountain to run through in the summer, a skate park, volleyball courts, a dog walking area with a pond and multiple fields. It has almost everything for the kids in all of us looking to get outside and do something in the fresh air for free!

The park is quiet place with nice views up and down the valley - nothing spectacular but pleasant. Wife and I like to watch the dogs play in the small lake; we also like walking over to the skate park on the week-ends.

This is a wonderful park for children, adolescents, adults and dogs! There is/are playground equipment, ball fields(including volleyball) walking/biking trails, and an off-leash dog park on the shores of a charming lake. On one of the trails around the lake, there is a moving memorial to those who lost their lives on 9-11 with a slab from the Pentagon. We... More

Great place to take my dog and look at a piece of history from 9/11 world trade center disaster. Not a huge place but just a nice park to hang out in with water feature.

with your family...Freedom Park is the one. The skateboard park is great...old and young play so well together there. Playground for the little guys, bike path for mom to go for a run and the river is only a couple of minutes away so you dog can have some fun too.

... wait everybody in the Valley has the dog off leash all the time so that must be not the reason to come here. Anyway the dogs seem to love it to chase each other or swim in the lake.
