Just west of Manitou Springs aNd Colorado Springs on 24, this state park has some good hiking trails that are not extremely difficult, yet they are very scenic. Take the time to visit and hike.

Planned a trip to Colorado Springs and decided to stay off the beaten path in Mueller State Park. We were elated when we got there. The view was awesome. Deer were roaming in the back yard. The cabin was unbelievable; gas fireplace, gas grill, all...More

We took a chance and drove to the other side of Pikes Peak to Mueller State Park and were very pleased. There are miles of trails that vary from easy to strenuous. The views from the over look trails are amazing, overlooking the continental divide....More

I have an annual pass and live nearby. I just love the wide open vistas of the Sangre De Cristo mountain range. I can visit for an hour or the whole day. Well-maintained hiking trails are uncrowded.

It was nice to see the snowy grounds, the place was not too far off the main road and everything looked maintained well. Lots of great views and scenery

Camped for two nights in October while sight seeing the area. Camping spots were clean level enough, a little small but with steep terrain it is understandable. Rangers were nice and wanting to help with anything. Very nice. Lots to do in the area 20...More

Hi. Has anyone ever camped in the group sites (group campground) at Mueller State Park? Does anyone know about the group campground? I am planning on camping there in the summer. My friends and I are trying to decide whether we should get individual sites, or the reserve the group campground. Thanks for any help.

In my opinion, the group camp ground is the most beautiful location in the park (on top of a hill with panoramic views and lots of trees for shade). It is also close to the bathroom/shower/laundry facility. Because it's a... More
