Large city park. Has an interesting history - google it before going. ;) I highly recommend the art fair, well coordinated and set-up nicely.

Wondering where Denver has hid all of its open space and trees? A big chunk of it is here. Lovely loop road, plenty of shade, and open green space.

Nice walks, open space, relative peace. I also ran round here early in the morning and it is a great place to get an hour or so done without worrying about crossing roads.

This park was listed as having great views of Denver in a guidebook we read. It is a nice park, but nothing special for a tourist interested in seeing the highlights of Denver.

Since I have moved to Denver, I love going to this park and bicycling or walking and soaking up the scenery. The views of the surrounding city are beautiful and it is very well maintained.

Plenty of grass to sun, play outdoor games, run your dog, throw a Frisbee or just relax. Beautiful historic marble pavilion. Plenty of shade, too. Playground for kids. Denver's "gay" park.

The signs only mention no bicycles, but if you look at the actual park rules on line at the Denver city website, rollerblading and skateboards are prohibited. They do ticket.

It's a beautiful park. I don't know the answers to your questions but Google would know or you can call the Denver Parks and Recreations Dept.
