Amazing is not too strong an adjective to use with the Colorado Symphony. And Uber Amazing is not too strong to use for Andrew Litton, their Musical Director. This group of outstanding musicians is so elite and so wonderful that you have to go to see for yourself what classical music is all about in 2015. Conductor Litton is a... More

Best shows, and very affordable student tickets! Always have a good experience here. Their "Inside the Score" concerts are my favorite, but I am quite the nerd.

The symphony performed a tribute to Rodgers and Hammerstein with three Broadway performers that transported the audience into a time of beautiful music and wonderful musical plays-a bygone era. The audience was enraptured and I lost count of the curtain calls. The three Broadway performers (2 men and a woman) sang and acted in character. The symphony has to be... More

I haven't seen CSO perfrom in several years, and they are still wonderful. Went to the "Harry Potter" music celebration, conductor was in "character" the entire time, really made it fun for the entire family while delivering an expertly crafted performance. Wish I had this quality of music at home, but will look forward to the next performance. Excellent experience.

We attended a performance at an outdoor venue on Fourth of July, and the symphony was wonderful. They played a variety of songs, including military anthems, and for some were accompanied by an excellent singer. The performance was capped off by fireworks. Terrific!

Sigh....since we only have one major symphony orchestra to chose from in this city, I guess it's hard to complain. Yet...the orchestra is uneven in their performances. Sometimes quite nice. Other times, shockingly off. I can remember sitting stunned at the end of The Great Gate of Kiev (Mussorgsky - Pictures at an Exhibition) and hearing other audience members around... More

Colorado Symphony Orchestra is one of the nation's best. I heard them interpret Mahler's complex Fifth Symphony. I've never heard it played better. And Boettcher Hall is terrific. Terrific experience.

Please don't miss the opportunity to hear the Colorado Symphony Orchestra in Boettcher Concert Hall. Their performances are filled with vitality, passion, elegance, and soulful poetry. CSO musicians are true virtuosos who can match, interpretively and technically, their counterparts in many more famous orchestras in larger cities. Their programming is innovative and adventures. Finally, their prices are extremely reasonable. Surely,... More

A friend and I recently attended The Colorado Symphony's Down a River of Time, Stravinsky's Suite from The Firebird, as well as the World Premier of William Hill's The Raven. Let me just say...I was crying within the first movement. The musicians are soooo talented with incredible control and such emotion. I appreciated hearing from two of the composers -... More
