We were sorta expecting more from the description of the mall. We probably made the mistake of heading south first. South chain central. Yes, there's a few local places but by in large, it's a miss unless you're heading to the Capital or Mint. The further you go north, the fancier and pricier the shopping and dining becomes. By the... The 16th Street Mall is really nothing special unless you like free bus rides from end to end. It's mostly visited by tourists who have to put up with panhandlers, homeless and teens who roam the mall. 16th street cuts right through downtown and many of the buildings are office buildings. The shops are nothing special, usually national chains and... More

I strolled through there in my free time at Denver. I ate lunch there and enjoyed window shopping here.

If you like beggars, punk millennials, and the smell of urine, this is the place for you. Decent selection of stores and restaurants, but this is the beggars highway. Go elsewhere, or if you have to be here, keep moving g.

This part of Denver is probably just what you are looking for if you are a tourist. A long stretch of street with numerous attractions, shopping, and restaurants along or near it. The North end has the train station which a great bar as well as several good restaurants. The South end has the capitol and a good park just... More

Used to be a good place to visit and browse the stores and restaurants. The number of homeless, beggars and druggies seem to be increasing by the month. Best to visit during the day although I plan to take it off my route.

Nothing like walking the 16th street Mall, be it summer or winter. Summertime its a great place to stroll and find a restaurant to stop and dine in because there are numerous eateries to choose from. If you like Christmastime and the beautiful lights, this is the place to be. Along with a horse drawn sleigh ride if it suits... More

We spent the afternoon walking the street, shopping, and eating. It's a great place to spend the day in Denver.

The 16th Street Mall was great place to visit while in Denver! We are well at Saltgrass Steak House, picked up doughnuts at Krispy Kream, and picked up few knick knacks along the way! The free trolley was perfect to get around the area and enjoy the sights and sounds of downtime Denver! We will go back again!!
