More than 3 miles of walking/biking trails surround a lagoon featuring rental paddleboats and kayaks. Thousands of varieties of flowers give the park a garden-like feel. Wildlife includes squirrels, ducks, and geese so it can be a bit messy strolling through the grass so watch...More

Biking, walking, playground, picnic, people watching: all of these things can be done at Wash Park. The area is safe and parking is available, too. Rental of bikes and paddleboats is done at the kiosk, relatively short time for a wait--we did expect to wait...More

Great park with something for everyone! Paddle boats, outdoor grills, slack lining, running, frisbee. Lots of mature trees, trails and ponds. Relaxing way to spend part of a day.

The gardens were pretty, the boat house and lake lovely; the park well-used by community members (but not worn out)...a very popular place, surrounded by city streets, nice older homes....seems a great benefit to those who live nearby.

The park is wonderful with a lake and numerous walking paths. Highly recommend also taking a walk in nearby neighborhood with beautiful brick homes and stately trees.

We went to Washington Park early one morning and rented a surrey to ride around the park. There were 5 of us (teens/adults). It was a tight fit and the surrey was challenging to pedal, but it was fun.

Wash Park has 2 lakes to walk around and lots of ducks and geese and is in better neighborhood than city park. Paddleboats on north lake. No swimming water not clean. Yes Water World is a different place and a great waterpark

You are correct and I was referring to the small paddle boats. I love Wash Park and live not far on Lincoln. I often walk the park as its a great place to get some exercise.
