This beautiful park lies in the middle of a large urban area, providing some much needed outdoor space to city dwellers. Our son, who lives in the Denver Metro area, regularly runs or roller skis around the 2.5 mile circumference of this park. It is a wonderful asset to the city.

This park has everything! Paddle boats and canoes on the lake, dancing lessons at the pavilion, miles of trail around both lakes, a creek for dogs to play in, volleyball and soccer, flower gardens and more. After 5pm in the summer, everyone south of Speer Blvd hangs out at the park. It is vibrant fun!

Washington Park is worth a visit any time of the year. In spring and summer, the gardens are bright with flowers. In fall the trees are bright. Winter brings views of the snow capped Rockies. At Wash Park you'll find volleyball tournaments, family picnics, runners, bikers and roller skaters.

Not overly crowded for a weekday. Views were nice. Lots of green space. Overall, not bad for a park.

I cannot explain how much I like this park. I use the park at least four time a week. It has a great rec center and you can find tennis, basketball, volleyball, and more pretty much every day of the week. It is one of the most beautiful places in all of Denver. The bike/jogging path is really great. Check... More

One of the hidden jewels of Denver were a lot of people like to hang out on days the weather is amazing. If you're into playing Pokemon, there are a lot of Pokestops. :)

We picked up a bcycle near DU and visited Washington Park. Greating running trails, open spaces for playing disc or flying a kite. Boat Park for renting paddle boats. Lovely community around the park.

I gave four stars because i hate geese and there are geese everywhere. Other than that, it's a great park. It's pretty big, a loop around the outside is a little over 2 miles i believe, so great for running. It can get crowded on nice days, but i think that makes it more fun!

It's a large park but can still feel crowded with the hordes of people that descend on it. This is a very popular place to meet, play sports and picnic in the tony area of Denver. Parking can be difficult and terrible access to public transit.
