The Denver Art Museum is good, but not great. There were a good selection or art styles on display, but it lacks some of the big name pieces that other more significant museums would have. However, you can only see so many Van Goghs before wanting to see something else. I spent an hour at it and felt like I... More

Always a terrific showing with special exhibits. The timed exhibits always start on time. Audio makes it fun and moving around the exhibit easy!

Not too sure about paying more for multiple exhibits. I don't like it when museums do this. It makes everything else seem cheapened.

Attended both the regular collection as well as numerous other special exhibits. This museum is simply amazing, both its building and the atmosphere... Unlike many museums that are crowded, this one is spacious and inviting!

There are two parts- the original museum has wonderful and varied exhibits and they usually have a special exhibit that is interesting. The newer building is the contemporary one and even the building is a piece of art. Denver is very proud of a really incredible collection in both and they are so worth visiting! Once in awhile there is... More

This is a great museum, especially with the addition of the new wing. Super modern and funky. I do wish they would switch up the older part of the museum a little more as I feel like that side stays pretty static. But aside from that, great location and lots to see. Especially if you're a CO resident, first Saturday... More

We were surprised by the size of the museum, seven floors plus two buildings. We were also surprised by the variety of the exhibits. They had a nice interactive exhibit for kids on every floor. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend it.

I've never been to an art museum with so many hands-on, high quality, interactive exhibits. We made postcards and painted at various stations. We watched an artist at work. We tried on costumes. This is a large museum, I'd allow a minimum of 2 hours to get through although an art lover would be content in this museum all day... More

Two great exhibits now: Samurai and Contemporary artists speak out. See them! Besides that, the museum is unique for its large collection of contemporary American western art and Pacific/ western US historical art as well as native American art from the plains. Everything else is better seen elsewhere. Very neat architecture that splits the collections between two main buildings. Plenty... More
