Great collection of Native American Art in their permanent collection. Interesting buildings with lots of areas for resting and interactive activities for people of all ages. My son and I spent about 3 hours here. Could have easily spent another couple of hours but could not because of other commitments. Staff and docents were very nice and knowledgeable. One of... More

It's history. It's art. It's the Denver Museum of Art. From modern to oceanic to Buddhist, you can find something to tickle your fancy.

The exhibit spaces are funky in the newer part of the building which I didn't particularly care for. It is big and has a very diverse collection of Western, Native, Asian, Contemporary, and rotating exhibits. Tries to cover all bases, but in my opinion, excelling in a few areas is better than just pulling it off in many. Some of... More

Fabulous exhibit of Andrew and Jamie....Only better at the Chadds Ford Museum...Jamie was actually there in his knickers!! One of the best, user friendly museums I have seen.

Lots of cool South West artwork, which is good for me because I love that stuff. If you're looking for something to do in Denver definitely check this out!

Something for everyone. Old, new, classic, modern, hands on kid activities and great museum shops. It's got it all.

The Denver Art museum offers a modest collection, with very few international masterpieces. The building is pleasant, with nice city views.

Go for special exhibits -- It is a solid museum not a great one. The new wing is weird for the sake of being weird not functional -- it does not enhance the art or the visitor's experience. Friendly staff and lots of fun stuff for families and an art room for all to try their hand at painting and... More

One of Denver's enduring iconic places. I love the new building, but the old building (original Art Museum) is still my favorite.
