Very Informative

Almost too informative. All of the stuff is crammed into a fairly small space, so it gets overwhelming pretty quickly. I also don't know if there's quite enough for kids (who I... read more

This is a specialty attraction. If you like firefighting, his filled with history and interesting artifacts. If you have little interest in the subject matter, you'll probably still find it interesting, but maybe not excellent. I didn't get to see everything, but did enjoy my visit.

Almost too informative. All of the stuff is crammed into a fairly small space, so it gets overwhelming pretty quickly. I also don't know if there's quite enough for kids (who I feel are the most interested in firefighters as a group) to do once they get bored of reading. Still, the rest of my family was pretty entranced by... More

Situated in an old firehouse, the idea behind this museum is very good. The execution needs some improvement. For starters, how about staffing it with somebody who knows something about the place? When I asked the woman who took my admission fee if her desk was the old housewatch, she looked at me like I had two heads. Signage needs... More

This fire fighters museum is kind of hard to find. The address is 1326 Tremont Pl and you can reach it from Colfax Ave or 14th street. I have visited a number of these museums and it always amazes me that I find new things at all of them. This one was no exception. They had a piece of a... More

We bought tickets on groupon, and glad we did. Even our teenagers enjoyed it. The kids can dress up, slide down the pole, and play games upstairs. We enjoyed the history. 1 hour was a good amount to spend there. Gift shop is very affordable & the lady working was super nice & helpful!

I thought that my kids (ages 5 and 3) would breeze through this museum in a hour or so because it's not very large, but they ended up spending several hours in the museum. There is an old fire pole that the kids can slide down, an old fire truck they can climb into and play in, a dress up... More

This place is tiny -- interesting but tiny -- a visit will take under ten minutes - they do have some cool souvenirs and it is worth a quick drop in

Great place for the kids, and adults as well. Old fire trucks, one of which the kids can climb into, uniforms to put on, and a lot of inter action for them. For the adults, the station upstairs has the lockers the firemen used, lots to see and take in, I would allow 2 hours at least if you want... More

I took a group of seniors here and we had a great time. They loved the history of the Denver fire department and looking at all the equipment that was from the past. GREAT tour, and great staff. Very affordable and lots of fun!

Our 13 yr old aspires to be a firefighter someday, so when we saw this museum we HAD to go. There was quite a bit to see, we enjoyed our time there.
