Who would have thunk it?? Land-locked Colorado has an ocean Aquarium--and a fine one to boot! Great ocean tanks with multi-colored fish that swim over you as you walk through the exhibit. Tigers and otters too! The café is kinda cool if you are lucky enough to sit right next to the reef tanks and be mesmerized by all the... More

We visited on a Monday when very few people were there. The place was clean and neat. The exhibits were adequate and well organized. This isn't Atlanta or Monterey Bay but for $19 it was a good 90 minute distraction. I don't need to return but I'm glad I went. And they have a tiger.

Being a privately owned aquarium and not receiving subsidiaries by the state, you would think that this aquarium would be amazing. It is owned and operated by Landrys Inc. Sadly, the aquarium really just wants you to spend more money (after the ridiculous admission price) on their photos, the gift shop and the restaurant. The exhibits are lacking for such... More

Excellent way to spend the day. Very knowledable staff. Wide variety of animals exhibited. Good for families, couples or solo.

It was cold on the Tuesday before thanksgiving day. The line was long and it moved slow :( After we finally got inside, we walked around taking pics and looking at the different sea creatures. The lion never came out; the kids waited a long time. Definitely a good place to visit for research, homework and anyone interested in marine... More

This was a good experience for 3 generations of our family on Thanksgiving day. There are many tanks full of fish of all varieties; some you walk under and other you walk through. There were caretakers who had an African porcupine on a leash near the bottom of the steps that lead to the restaurant and later on they had... More

So many types of sea creatures, easy to spend the whole day just relaxing watching all theses different kinds of species. Pictures don't do any justice!

The aquarium has many exhibits with ceilings above the walkway allowing for VERY interesting views. Take pictures with your camera against the glass, the pictures look like you are inside the exhibits.

Being from the east coast, I'm used to Aquariums that just butt up against the ocean, but when you consider that Denver had to CREATE these huge tanks and all the salt water (and not simply pipe it in), this place is pretty decent. When I've gone with 4-5 year olds, they like the variety of creatures, especially the sharks,... More
