I needed to wait for someone and the library was perfect. Free Wi-Fi, lots of seating. I grabbed a book and relaxed. Nice views from the upper stories.

The Denver Public Library is awesome. If you love to read, and have a passion for books, you should definitely check it out.

Moving to Denver I really appreciate the library system. Great employees, great resources, wonderful branches. Only issue is the usual with unionized public employees--the library is closed on holidays and when most working people are free to go, and the cost of salaries and pensions...More

The main branch of the Denver Public Library is a beautiful building constructed of multiple types of building stone. It is architecturally gorgeous. I have no objections to the homeless folks using the facility. It is a public space. The unfortunate deserve our care. However, hosting the homeless should not be the primary function of a library. The society should take more responsibilities. Otherwise, the librarians are helpful....More

It's a beautiful building, and a great library, but we actually returned our books at another location to avoid coming back here. I know the city is trying to address this issue, but there really are a load of rough characters all around the building....More
