Ft. Uncompaghre is disappointing if you enter and walk around without a guide. The mound of dirt and piles of dead stuff have no relevance, but if you stop on a Friday when Hartley is about, the fort takes a 180 and breathes history. Another...More

This is a cool historical spot to check out but is not open all the time so you have to check when its open! Fun to learn history whether you are traveling through our a local! In the Confluence Park area so lots to do!

Stopped here after camping at Ridgeway State Park on way to Glenwood Springs. Locked fence with a sign saying pre-arranged group tours only. Small placard with basic info you can find on the internet.

Place is locked up with a small sign that wants you to call to make reservations for a tour ,b ut no phone number.

Understands that to the children that come visit this place gets the history of it nd I love that it has such rich history,,, I have been living in delta for 20 yrs nd I am 20 yrs old
