Came from Aspen to Crested Butte and was quickest route but it is 90% dirt road so I wouldn’t go if rainy or snowy. BUT, what beautiful scenery. Loved it just be careful in narrow places but it’s worth the drive!

Wow - gorgeous fall colors and views with the beautiful aspens. Took the pass to Paonia for wine tastings and lunch. Be sure to book Dolly’s Mountain Shuttle to do the driving. Our new friend/tour guide/driver, Kate, was excellent.
