Hiked Copley Lake which was a great workout with excellent view at the top of peaks behind the lake. Take your bug spray as in early spring at the lake there were swarms of mosquitos.

We drove up to Lost Lake (16 miles) from Crested Butte. Very worthwhile trip. Nice aspen groves, incredible views and great hiking at the lakes.

Drove from the Crested Butte side with my aging parents. We stopped at lake Irwin and Lost Lake before turning around. They both loved the drive. Just another 1-2 more weeks and the wildflower will be amazing.

beautiful skin, and even more spectacular descent. not for inexperienced! go as high as you wish, for descent plan on 2000ft+ climb.

If you are in Crested Butte in the summer you should definitely make the drive over Kebler Pass. You can go all the way to Paonia or turn around. While the road is not paved it is very good and would be fine to drive...More

Beautiful scenery, decent road when dry, Average car will have no issues. Worlds largest organism when you pass through the aspen trees.
