36 km from Balikpapan city center it takes 1 and a half hour, the beach is far from the main road but worth to come. There are some simple gazebo around the beach so we can relax after the long road.

My church team stayed in Ambalat for 2 days (retreat). The beach is so clean. The small house also have good facility. But the public toilet is too dark.

Yes....it is in Balikpapan..... Geographically it's located near Balikpapan..... But it's part of kutai..... It's beautiful beach which still manage by surrounding communities... It's more natural with minimum buildings n facilities... That's the way it's to be....fell so natural n fresh......

Thank Fusamania
