Took a CCW class up there. Instructors were excellent. The range instructors were very helpful and very experienced. I rented a firearm for the class and the staff on the counters were knowledgeable and helpful. Very good experience.

**UPDATE** November 2019, Since my review below, I've taken Magnum's Intermediate Handgun class from Josh. It was time well spent. He is a true professional and I learned a lot. I've also taken part in Magnum's competitive shooting program for three months. The Wednesday night program is the "Draw From the Holster" USPSA style shooting event and it is run by John Schafer. John (and the Magnum staff) put on a class act that safe, fun and competitive. I've belonged to other gun clubs around the country and shot IDPA before. I've experienced plenty of "gun snobbery" and other forms of bad attitudes at other competitions and ranges but the staff and regulars who participate in Magnum's shooting competitions are friendly men and women who are safety conscious, friendly and encourage camaraderie. If you've ever been interested in learning about competitive shooting come check it out. You'll have to attend a baseline safety class and if you aren't experienced in "moving and shooting" from the holster you can take part in the "non-holster' based Tuesday night events. These competitions take place on the last Tuesday and Wednesday of each month. You can find the sign up on the Magnum website in the "intermediate/advance" handgun classes link. September 2019 I took their 'Drawing From a Holster' class recently and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anybody who wants to improve their shooting skills. Joshua Bendell was the instructor, as you will see in many other positive reviews he brings years of Army Special Forces training experience and professionalism to the classroom and range. I am an experienced shooter with years of firearms qualifications in my 23 years on active duty in the Army and Air Force. That said, Josh showed me ways to still further improve my skills and challenged us with advanced drills. Bottom line - Magnum Shooting Center's staff continues to impress me with their skill and professionalism. I look forward to taking more advanced training courses from them.…
