Trails, ponds with turtles and koi, play structures, sports fields, picnic facilities, and a dog park. This park has it all.

This is a great forested regional park. Some difficult trails, and some easy that are around the lake. From the higher trails, you can see Pikes Peak at some points. Thank goodness the park service abandoned the idea of letting a private enterprise build a zip line in this park. It would have ruined it for nature lovers. A dog park is located here also. …

Fox run is a fabulous walk. I wouldn’t suggest this if you are looking for an intense hike, but for a morning or afternoon stroll with the dogs it’s wonderful. There is a dog park, playground, soccer field, and picnic areas for family’s. Everyone I have met here has been great, there are two lakes at the upper parking area that are peaceful. Your dogs are allowed to walk on the trails as long as they are on leash. The trail system isn’t marked well and can get confusing. It’s not a terribly large park so as long as you can orient yourself to the road you should be ok.i always start up the large hill on the backside of the lakes, it’s about a 45 minute walk.…

What an amazing dog park. Normally the human does not get much exercise, but you could actually do a very nice hike with your off leash dog. The park was kept clean (no problem at all) with friendly folks and their well behaved dogs. A nice cool area away from summer heat and get your dog and yourself off the sofa. Vault toilets were clean.…
