Definitely worth a visit, especially if you've never been exposed to his art. Such detail and intricate displays. Garman covered almost every line of work, every walk of life, all kinds of characters in his figures.

...and I am. I just don't know how much of an attraction it would be for someone who isn't already a fan of his work. If you are, though, it's a great time!

We took visitors here this July including a 2 year old and a 9 year old. Everyone had a great time in Magic Town! Make sure to try the scavenger hunt, you will appreciate the scene much more.

Not only is Michael Garman an excellent sculptor, he has a fantastic eye for every little detail, which is superbly demonstrated throughout everything from individual statues of western themed and everyday people to his massive street scene dioramas. You can't help but be fascinated.

Garman is a master craftsman. I have collected his work for years and seeing it all in one place is wonderful experience. I was amazed that the staff not only allows photography. They encourage it.

Located in Old Colorado City, this gallery is a must see. The sculptures are beautiful and the tour of the Garman little city is amazing. Sculptures are for sale in their shop. It is located near great places to eat and lots of interesting shops...More

The Michael Garman Museum is very unique. The detail that went into the gallery is exceptional. Also, the staff was very friendly and the addition of the scavenger hunt throughout the gallery made the tour even more enjoyable.

About an hour. I stop in about once or twice a year; and have collected a little more than a dozen sculptures.

Adult tickets are $5 a piece. That includes complimentary popcorn and scavenger hunt card. I haven't been able to find any information about children's tickets, but I would assume they are even less expensive.
