We stopped by the park on our last morning in Colorado Springs before we had to catch flights in Denver. The park offered a variety of hiking trails for varying levels. There was great scenery on the trails. Definitely worth the hike! The problem lies...More

Fun place to drive and hike. We only did a couple of hikes, but all of them were great. Really close to CS too!

The Seven Bridges trail is in good shape (and well-used). Comfortable one-hour hike to 7th bridge only after somewhat tedious hike along the old mining road that could use some work. (Too loose, large gravel for walking in spots and ruts in others.) Helen Hunt...More

Having lived in Colorado Springs for over 30 years, this area is by far my favorite to visit. In literally just 5-10 minutes, you are transported into nature and away from city life. No matter what the season, summer or winter, Helen Hunt Falls and...More

Parking is an issue. Go early or late. Hike takes about 30 minutes. Beautiful drive up to the falls trail head. Watch for humming birds.

Helen Hunt falls is the highlight of this narrow winding road way up the canyon. A must do in Colorado Springs. Waterfall is better in spring

We rented a house at the base of Cheyenne Canon and loved it. Our daughters (16 & 20) like to hike and rock climb and we did a little of both nearly every day. There are easy hikes and more challenging hikes, so regardless of...More

We took this drive on a hot day during our recent Colorado vacation. It's nice that it's free. The road through the canyon is pretty, and Helen Hunt Falls is a nice little stop. We took the hike from the trailhead that starts at Helen...More

The Helen Hunt falls are very pretty....not the tallest falls, but you'll get a nice workout if you chose to take the hike up to the top of the falls. Very friendly and helpful workers at the information building, also. Free to visit, unlike the...More

Yes- the road is navigable with large vehicles. It's windy, but you can still fit two wide quite easily.

You can find maps on the internet and the park is not that big. There is one road through it and trails on either side of the canyon. Hard to get lost.
