You can learn the history of money, see some great collections, view money mistakes and more at this neat, not-too-big museum. In an hour to an hour and a half, you'll learn much about money, from ancient times to the present. For younger children, there is a kids corner. Well worth the time, and costs very little.

We stopped here as many of the attractions in the area were affected by wildfires during our visit. There were several good collections of coins, and helpful charts and data plates to add to the depth of data. They had an extremely strict policy of no picture taking, which was really frustrating to me. There was also a strong security... More

My husband collects coins and worked with money for many years at his job. This was a must see on our trip and it was fascinating to learn about money. They have activities for kids too.

I toured the American Numismatic Association's Museum of Money beautifully situations across from the Colorado College in Colorado Springs. I say beautifully situation because in the distance loomed a snow capped Pike's Peak. The Museum is chock full of old U.S. Coins and paper money...a virtual history of US coinage and currency. Some of the finest examples of patterns, proofs,... More

My husband was the one that wanted to visit this museum but our entire family ended up enjoying it, even the teenagers. Inexpensive too with student discounts.

Allow an hour to walk through and see all of the exhibits. The museum is part of the college campus, and some merchandise is available in a small gift shop to purchase. During our time there, the main collection is available along with a full spread of Olympic coins and historical merchandise. The whole basement area was an interactive history... More
