Went to the NHL Stadium series here and the traffic was horrible. Not in a very good spot for the large crowd. An hour and half before the start of the game we were backed up on the I-25 and did not make it to the field before the game started. Missed all the opening festivities sitting in line. On top of that was 30 dollars to park and cash only.

We hit the Army vs. Air Force game, very exciting! That game is likely the busiest of the year. So if you go, plan for a 3 hour getting there from I-25 to park and get in stadium. I wish I was over exaggerating :-( it was so bad half the stadium was empty for the start. The stadium itself is cool and the views are gorgeous. It’s bench seating. Only issue is on level 1 there are only bathrooms and food and beverage stands at the beds by the goal posts - so get your seats by the end zones! Not sure how the higher levels are. Cool spot on the North end zone as they have food trucks inside the stadium.

Falcon Stadium has a fun, family friendly atmosphere for football. There are tons of food trucks for a variety of food options. They have some very unique traditions at Air Force on game day. Due to high winds, they weren’t able to parachute into the stadium though. However these guys do a solid job running game day.

We drove to the stadium while visiting the Air Force Academy. The stadium is breathtaking with the mountains in the background of the stadium.

Great view from the overlook on I-25. I stopped here for the scenic overlook and just happened to see the stadium too.
