Parkland facilitating all forms of activity, you can drive, ride, run, walk, climb within the park boundary, climbing requires a permit and trails must be adhered to. Plenty of opportunity to experience the wild, mule deer, coyote, bear and rattle snakes. Visitor centre good and trading post within park so my favourite place, many artists and craft men, always have... More

Pretty cool place to see. The natural beauty is astounding. Nearby Manitou springs is a nice little town with a touristy flair. The weed shop there is a bit of a dissappointment compared to those in Trinidad or Denver.

Absolutely stunning, nothing more to say. Get out of the car and walk around the place, feel the energy! Winter may not be optimal for exploring, but you can drive the entire site, so even if you are prevented from walking you can still really enjoy the views.

When I first came out here in 2001 this was the first place I went. I had read about it and looked at pictures, but as anyone knows a picture can not capture what it feels like to be there. Cathedral Valley will take your breath away. My wife and I love this place so much we got married there.... More

I was visiting my sister and this was must see on her list. It was a very windy day, so we stayed mostly in the car, but still enjoyed the scenery, getting out a few times to take pictures. We also went to the Visitor's center, which was very nice.

Garden of the Gods is absolutely beautiful! One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. It reminded me of Sedona AZ with amazing red rocks. Which is equally amazing, and I'd highly recommend visiting. It is free to go to Garden of the Gods. No parking or entry cost. Consider wearing layers even for a warmer day. Once your... More

Get out of your car and walk. Bring your camera! Can get crowded. Best at sunrise or sunset. Nice place for a jog as well.

My boyfriend and I first visited in February 2016 with my sister and her boyfriend during an adult trip and we fell in love! So much that I wanted to bring the kids to show them how beautiful it was. The kids loved going along the hiking trails and seeing the different rocks and the view. It's awesome that it... More

Beautiful natural attraction, accessible to everyone (many paved, wheelchair accessible paths), and always free! This is a great way to get outdoors and enjoy some of Colorado's natural beauty without breaking the bank.

Lightly snowing and we still had a great time exploring the trails and marveling at the monoliths. A bit frustrated by the foolish people who wouldn't stay on the trail and climbed randomly all over rocks in selfish pursuit of the perfect Selfie.
