Our family of 8 visited Garden of the Gods in the summer, so it was hot, but we had a great time. Anyone who knows me, knows I love red rocks. So the minute I heard of this place, I knew we'd be going.

Beautiful place to explore some stunning rock formations. Paved paths make this an easy walk. Nice areas for the kids to climb and explore. Don't miss the general store. Overpriced as expected but quite large with some beautiful things.

There are very few bears in that area. It is a well-known tourist attraction, but there is no camping right in the Garden of the Gods. Therefore, food is not left in campsites to attract bears. It is a beautiful place to explore via the proper roads. I do not know if the Park actually supplies bear spray. I did not see anything that suggested they would.
