I visited on a weekday in January and truly enjoyed myself. In summer or on holidays this may be too crowded to enjoy as even on a slow day some pull-ins to see a particular formation were full. The roads are very easy to drive...More

This is a lovely spot if you happen to be in the area...while not a huge park it offers some nice short hikes and lovely vistas.

My son, grandpuppy and I visited the Garden of the Gods. We walked many of the trails and we're awed by God's red rock creations. The various trails accommodated visitors who could walk for miles as well as those who could walk just a mile....More

The best hiking part in the area. Very nice views of the special rock structures. Hiking is relatively easy.

Great for families, couples, or solo hiking. Beautiful scenery throughout. A must do in Colorado Springs, easy to get to and doesn't cost a penny.

When you visit start your trip at the information/visitors center and read about the park. See the animals that live there and learn about the dinosaur that was discovered there. For a small fee I recommend watching the 15 minute film that explains how old...More

We only went through Garden of the Gods because we had some time to kill, but were pleasantly surprised by the views. Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to see some striking views without having to get out of the car!

We went on a very cold and snowy day, which meant that the park was not busy at all. The contrast of snow on the red rocks was awesome, as was the ice on the tree branches. It was beautiful. Garden of the Gods is...More

I visited with a friend on a snowy day. There weren't many people in the park because of the cold and snow. The contrast of snow on the red rocks was amazing. For those who aren't aware, Garden of the Gods is a city park...More

The rock formations are awe-inspiring. In case you enjoy getting away from the crowds, there are about 20 miles of hiking in beauty in the park. Nothing is beyond the moderate level for hiking and all the trails are well marked. even if you have...More

We stayed at the TownPlace Suites about a 5 mile drive to The Garden of the Gods. The room included breakfast each day. Can't help much with the camping, I haven't done that since I was a Boy Scout.
