We took a guided Jeep tour through the area - a great way to understand the history and formations. We would have missed a lot of background without the tour. It is obviously a great area for hiking, biking and horseback riding!

It is very interesting to see the different rock formations in this park. The map is not good to find everything. You really have to explore to find the different formations. Give yourself a few hours in order to see everything.

We planned our day to wake up and hit Garden of the Gods early. So gorgeous, great photo ops, mostly stroller friendly. The most popular walking paths are super easy to find and navigate. Will go back every chance we get.

Colorado is a beautiful state. The geological history of this place is amazing. And there is no better place to see and experience the geography of Colorado then the Garden of the gods.

This was one of my favorite sites. It is a free drive through park with walking trails. We went in one afternoon and came back next day.

There are very few bears in that area. It is a well-known tourist attraction, but there is no camping right in the Garden of the Gods. Therefore, food is not left in campsites to attract bears. It is a beautiful place to... More
