A narrow, one way road that is not suitable for RV's or over-size vehicles and that offers three miles of thrills.

We loved this! It took us a couple hours but we stopped a lot, took a quick hike, and had a picnic lunch. There were a couple scary spots with no guardrails but not too bad. We saw two tarantulas so be careful. Kids liked...More

This is a short, but beautiful drive being able to see both sides of the valley. At the top, you can park and take a short hike to the bottom.

The one way road was an exciting drive with twists and turns. Views were beautiful and a little scary where the side of the road fades just out of view as you make your way up and down the mile and a half drive. At...More

Did this drive awhile back with a friend actually 2 years ago and if you are afraid of heights, have someone else drive. So beautiful to see everything on both sides of the narrow thin road high up above Canon City.

Excellent fun drive. My first impression at the start was of of the Dukes of Hazzard TV show. Beautiful scenery. No trailers or large vehicles due to switchbacks. (We had a full-size Mercedes Sprinter passenger van, which handled it beautifully.) First time we parked and...More

A fun drive along a narrow ridge line overlooking the mountains on one side and the town on the other. It is a narrow windy road that anyone can do, but definitely requires a little courage.

A must do drive. So much to see, but watch the road also. Very narrow with people and bikes on it also.

This drive is not for the faint of heart, but it is a beautiful drive. There are portions where the one lane road barely fits on the top of the hill. The views and the rock formations are amazing. You have to access the road...More

Whether you drive this or take the Segway tour, it provides a good view and won't consume much of your time, so it is a worthwhile drive while you are in Canon City.

Fun drive to the top, amazing view of Canon City! I have fear of heights so coming here was a great way to test myself to overcome that fear. I did just fine!

This review is about Skyline Drive in Canon City, Colorado, not South Carolina. The former is about 3mi long. No clue about SC's.

I would not try it. There's a tight turn at the end that takes you back (down) in the opposite direction. In addition, wind can be an issue with a high-profile vehicle. It's not windy everyday, but this is the Front Range of... More
