Loved out visit to the wildlife centerf, so many beautiful animals, in their forever homes, safe, protected, feed, and handled with care., There tigers are huge, and so amazing, the little guys, are so cute, and there are certain times when u can pet the 'little guys' we had a great visit. I had read the reviews & was in the area, so tried to stop by SSWC. Couldn't find much info on their website, but upon returning home, found the place had been sold and animals redistributed to other sanctuaries as the owner had health problems. Wish I could've made it before it closed down.

So sorry you made the trip only to find we were closed. We sold to a facility who lied to us and poor Nick who built it with his own hands. Serenity Springs was an amazing facility. Its sad they lied to him and used the opportunity to trick donors and to make money instead of leaving these amazing creatures... More

Serenity Springs in Calhan, Colorado not only brings peace for the animals but for the visitors and volunteers as well. This is a special place that I fell in love with immediately. I knew I wanted to sponsor an animal and I did. I knew I wanted to volunteer and I began in August. I even started looking for housing... More

I'm grateful for the work this organization does to rescue wild cats who may otherwise be put down. Although it's hard to see these wild animals in cages, they seem quite content, unlike some places I've been where the animals do nothing but pace their cages.

Touring this sanctuary is a great way to spend some time, see beautiful animals and put your money towards a good cause. The tour lasts about an hour and you get a well informed guide who tells you interesting stories about the animals in their care. They also offer one hour encounters/play time with baby animals if they have them.... More

Good guided tour with descriptions of each animal. Retirement environment for many of their large cats. Well-kept facility.

We went for the tiger cub encounter and it was an experience of a lifetime! We had three adorable white Bengal tiger cubs roaming around, playing, and climbing on us. We will go back one Saturday or Sunday for a full tour.

I went last night (7/7/16) for my first visit to Serenity Springs Wildlife Center and I can't wait to go back for another visit. We went for the Tiger Cub experience and it was unlike anything I have experienced. We got to play with 3 tiger cubs in a group setting. I got to scratch the belly and kiss the... More

Went to play with the tiger cubs. Not only did we get to play with them, but we got to bottle feed them, take as many pictures as we wanted, and learned a lot from the employees. They have so many tours to chose from....something for everyone's flavor. A must see! Thanks for the fantastic experience.

This place is fantastic! Lions and tigers and even bears. They have cats here that I have never even heard of. The tour guide was so friendly and helpful. She worked great with both the adults and the kids. The cat handlers were knowledgeable, careful and so great. Right now there are seven week old tiger cubs that we got... More
