I haven't been to an event there in several years. This is an aging venue that is holding up. Good for basketball, much better food, updated scoreboard with good video. Unfortunatelyn the basketball team is not good this year.

From the front doors you have unbelievable views of the flatirons which we never get tired of. The arena is quite large and you... More

Was there for opening event at Coors. What the typical fan sees has not really changed since then. Yes, they now have practice facilities for men's and women's basketball and volleyball. However, the ancient elevator, ancient public bathrooms in arena are original to the building I think. Food is outrageously priced and not tasty so I don't buy. Was there... More

Agree with the previous reviewer that the naming rights issue is (and was at the time of the initial act) embarrassing. This place isn't just for basketball. That part "event" they got right. This place can also host meetings, etc. It's neither perfect nor terrible for such events. Just too bad about the commercial sell-out to folks (who also have... More

We are season ticket holders for CU BBall. Coors Event Center is a great place to watch hoops when it is sold out (11,000+), which it has been the last few seasons. The students are generally enthusiastic and well behaved. They were moved to the end-zone a few seasons ago, which reduces their impact as compared to center court seating,... More

We have CU season tickets and enjoy the Chip's Corral before the game and a well run event center. They could freshen up some of their acts during the game but overall it is always a well run game day. They have taken some of the perks away from season ticket holders since they joined the Pac-12 and season tickets... More

As a CU alumni, I am still disappointed that they would name a college building after a beer brand. And we wonder why CU has a reputation as a party school? I can only hope we have a more appropriate name some day in the distant future.... The facility is great but the name is an embarrassment to the local... More

Had a really good opportunity to see the complex and attend the graduation ceremonies with a good view - easy in and out even though there were a lot of people.

Who would have thought that Colorado would a great place for college basketball? Both men's and women's University of Colorado teams are talented, competitive, and responsive to the electric atmosphere. Exciting place to watch Division 1 basketball.
