Situated in the heart of an energetic city is beautiful, historic Downtown Boulder. At the heart of Downtown Boulder is the Pearl Street Mall, a wonderfully charismatic four-block-long pedestrian mall that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2007. Colorful, bright flowers fill the mall almost the entire year and street performers, with a multitude of talents, make the Pearl Street Mall one of the best people-watching destinations anywhere.

Pearl Street mall is a happening place. From ice cream, to amazing shopping, local and USA produced handcrafted fine crafts, clothes, restaurants and more... this is the place to enjoy a walk and enjoy Boulder. The people are so friendly and helpful. Enjoy!

I didn't go shopping but if I would have been in town for that, this is where I would go. Really good art/poster shop in the 1500 block, there's a dispensary downstairs off the street somewhere, wasn't looking for that, but it's legal. Went to...More

Alot going on here--music, buskers, street performers, outdoor seating, dining, ice cream parlors, coffee houses and historic buildings. Stop at the visitors center to get a self guided walking tour of the area. Some great late 1800s and early 1900s buildings. A fun area to...More

This outdoor mall has always been extremely crowded with people but lately no one seems to care about the rules (no dogs, no bikes, no skateboards and no smoking) and it really has made the experince of Pearl St go downhill. It'd be nice to...More

Lots of shops and restaurants. Metered parking surrounding the area is not enough to accommodate everyone. Be prepared to walk!
