Flagstaff Mountain was a great, fairly easy hike. Thew views were incredible though, especially considering how manageable the hike was.

Beautiful views of boulder. Steep hike, however you can drive up most of the way on some very windy roads. Watch for bikers, there are a lot of them. Simply breathtaking!

Camping isn't allowed in Boulder's Open Space and Mountain Parks area, which is the area Flagstaff is in. If you do a web search for camping near Flagstaff you can find some nearby (though not easily walkable) places.
